Baby Labeled "Never Say Die"When these eyes first discovered sight, at that moment where light first found me, my moment of enlightenment, I was a baby labeled “maybe”. Baby boy H, for hot. Too feverish to survive a more than 2 week hospital stay as pathogens cut a path through my immune system, Lewis and Clarking their way with conviction down my bloodstream exploring the upper extremities of an infant’s strength and prepping this new world for takeover and burning, while my native white blood cells run to the hills having no idea how to take on this new threat. But war is in my genes so IBaby Labeled "Never Say Die"
